What They’re Saying About Us

My 2002 Astrovan lost 2nd gear and reverse suddenly. I was able to get it to Worldwide Transmissions. I was impressed with all the transmissions on the shelves and all the activity that was going on there. Curtis had it diagnosed on their computer and told me exactly what the problem was. I decided to go ahead with the work. They did an exceptional job on it and repaired it with a year guarantee. I took it back because I thought it shifted into one of the gears too hard. He took it for a test drive and explained the shifting hard. He then kept it for that day and fixed it to my complete satisfaction. With the problem fixed it is now better that new and I am reasonably certain that it will outlast the rest of the vehicle. Curtis and Worldwide Transmissions is the kind of a place that earns your trust and you can feel good about.

This was my second experience at World Wide Transmission and both have been above what I expect at a mechanic shop. I recently had some issues with possible flooding of my car and after the insurance company deemed there was no flooding, I was left with a non functioning car at another shop. When they said I needed to replace the entire tranmission (despite many indications that it was still mechanically sound) I took it to World Wide and they quickly identified the issue as being a faulty sensor. I had my car back in 3 days. It was at the other shop for over 2 weeks. I strongly recommend World Wide Transmission. He knows what he is doing and is fair to the customer. Should I have any other issues (knock on wood) he will be the first one I call.

I am new to the area and not familiar with which shops are reliable and trustworthy. I found World Wide Transmissions by internet search and decided to give them a try. My manual transmission had begun to make noise. Curtis took it for a drive and explained what the possibilities were and what the potential cost would be. It ended up being slightly more, but they showed me all the worn and broken parts and explained how the damage occurred. The transmission now is easier to engage and shift than when it was new off the dealer's lot. I appreciate the time Curtis took to explain everything and that they kept all the worn parts to show me, leaving no doubt as to the necessity of the work that had been done. I am confident the transmission will now last another 190,000 miles. I highly recommend World Wide Transmission to anyone who needs transmission work.

Curtis at WWT told me up front what he thought was wrong with the transmission. I brought it in to him and within a few hours they had disassembled and reassembled it, all within the same day 🙂 There were no surprises in cost and the guys there are top notch. I will definitely be recommending WWT to others! Thank you guys for the excellent work! - Jeff B.

Curtis replaced my transmission last December--he made me feel like my "gently used" Honda was just as important as any other newer car in his shop. He treated me honestly and fairly, and told me exactly what he was going to do. He got my car back to me one day earlier than scheduled, and gave me a ride to and from work/Hertz rental. Recently, my car had an issue and he promptly and efficiently took care of it, no questions asked. I feel like I was given the best possible service, and wish all businesses treated me as honestly and fairly as Curtis has! Thanks World Wide Transmission!

Took my 2003 Toyota there, they looked at it for free and alerted me that there was a service bulletin on it. They told me to that I needed to take it to Toyota as this was related to a recall. I walked away from World Wide Transmission not paying them anything and as a result of the honesty Toyota replaced the ECM and transmission for free...SAVING ME BIG TIME. This says a lot about the owners, they are here to help you out and not take advantage.
